Priti has received her education in Architecture and Urban Design and has worked in the industry for over two decades. She has academic and professional experience both in India and in the US. While working as an Architectural and Urban Design professional, she has worked on a diverse scale of projects ranging from Conservation and Rehabilitation Proposal for Palace in Kashmir to Design Proposal of Community Housing in Oakland to custom homes and residential remodeling in the Bay Area.
Having built her own home in the Bay Area, her approach focuses on the lived experience a space could provide making Architecture a multifaceted discipline that merges design with context, community, and resources. Priti’s design philosophy evolved into one of simplicity and clean lines - creating forms that do not depend on costly trappings to realize its function.
Priti’s strong grasp on the technical aspect of the building process, her diverse background, her passion to create spaces that provide enriching experiences, has made Urban Works a successful and steadily growing business.
Priti has her Masters degree in Urban Design from UC Berkeley, Masters of Architecture from SPA New Delhi and Bachelors of Architecture from IIT Roorkee.
